Forage harvesting operator Nathan Wilson thoroughly enjoys operating the John Deere forage harvesters for John Austin Ltd.

These harvesters have such large appetites that the operators need their wits about them,  to get the most from these big machines.

Nathan has been with JAL for the past 4 years. He is married to Sarah, who manages the Kirkham dairy farm on Te Mawhai Rd.

Prior to joining JAL Nathan spent a few years operating combines and tractors in Nth America. He is English born and grew up in New Forest, which is in the southern part of England.

Away from work Nathan enjoys classic tractors, fishing, socialising and going to the beach. He misses the thrills of hunting with the hounds, something he did a lot of in England.
